MJ is a multidisciplinary artist and arts administrator from the south side of Chicago,

A writer, actor, dancer, and singer that has been performing ever since she was 3 years old. Beginning with dance at the historic Mayfair Dance Academy, she eventually found theatre in high school and has never looked back. She most recently received her Masters of Business Administration from Tennessee  State University in Spring 2024, where she also completed her undergraduate studies with Honors receiving her Bachelor of Arts in English with a History minor and Bachelor of Science in Communications with a focus in Theatre Performance in Spring 2022. She developed her theater roots in Nashville, TN where she actively participated in the theatre community as a performer, playwright, stage manager and more! She permanently resides in Chicago where she runs her nonprofit organization "My First Love's Artist Cafe" and plans to continue her studies towards acquiring her Masters of Fine Arts in Acting.
